Free Photos of Amsterdam

Note: The following pertains to photos found on DutchAmsterdam.nl, EyeAmsterdam.com, and http://flickr.com/photos/dutchamsterdam/.

Original photographs used throughout the DutchAmsterdam web site are marked, “© Copyright: DutchAmsterdam.nl.”

You may use our photographs only if and when you agree to the requirements stated below. The men in the grey suits — the very same guys who came up with our site’s Terms of Service — have assured us of their assistance in case we find our photographs used without permission. In that case, a sizable amount of money is likely to change hands (yours to ours).

So here are those requirements…

• Online
  You may use up to 10 of our photographs (including those found at our Flickr DutchAmsterdam photostream) on your blog or website, as long as you provide a live, clickable link to this website.

  • The link must be provided with each photograph used.
  • If you found the photograph on our Flickr stream, the photo must link back to our Flickr page, and the credit link must be included as shown below.
  • The link may not include a “no follow” tag.

  Like so:

Various Sizes

Usually various sizes are available. Just click on the picture of your choice to find additional sizes (hosted either locally or at Flickr).

If you need a large size for any picture marked “© Copyright: DutchAmsterdam.nl,” feel free to contact us.

Acceptable and Prohibited Uses

You may use our photos, with proper attribution as described above, on web sites, in print, or elsewhere. However, you may not sell or resell them. The pictures may not be included in a commercial product (e.g. books, calendars, screen savers, shareware, etcetera) without our prior permission in writing.

Clickable links may not include “no follow” tags.
