Balraj Indian Restaurant

Open since 1977, Balray is one of the oldest Indian restaurants in Amsterdam.

Its informal, cozy atmosphere along with fantastic Indian home cooking has also made this one of Amsterdam’s favorite Indian restaurants.

Eat here a few times and you’ll soon notice that Balraj’s customers include many faithful regulars.

The food here is less hot, in terms of spices, than that of many other Indian restaurants. That’s the way most Indians eat their food. As a result, you can actually taste and enjoy Balraj’s wonderful dishes.
