Dalai Lama to visit Netherlands

DutchAmsterdam.nl — Tibet’s spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, will be visiting the Netherlands on 4 and 5 June.

Predictable, the Chinese government — used to having its way with oppression and other human rights violations — whines about the visit and have subtly warned the Dutch government of possible “negative consequences” for Sino-Dutch relations.

Radio Netherlands Worldwide visited the Chinese district in Amsterdam to gauge the opinions of the residents about the Tibetan spiritual leader’s upcoming visit.
