A look back to Spencer Tunick’s human installation in Amsterdam, June 2007

This Sunday, 4.000 nude people will grace as-of-yet secret locations in downtown Amsterdam for an art project by renowned photographer Spencer Tunick.
In the Netherlands people can be naked in their gardens, the beach and recently the gym. But in America, even chocolate sculptures can’t be without clothes. What gives?
Spencer Tunick captures nude figures through film and video, with public space as his decor. On June 3, 2007, he will shoot an installation in Amsterdam. Hundreds, perhaps thousands, of naked men and women will spill into some of the Amsterdam streets and squares.
