Amsterdam ranked in Top Ten of most popular congress and convention destinations

DutchAmsterdam.nl — Positioned at number nine Amsterdam ranks among the top ten city destinations for international congresses and conventions, but the Netherlands as a whole dropped from 10th place last year to 13th place this year.

The country and city rankings, measured by the number of meetings organized in 2010, were published by the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA).

The ICCA rankings cover meetings organized by international associations which take place on a regular basis and which rotate between a minimum of three countries.

Last year Amsterdam shared an 8th place listing with Lisbon.
