Tickets (Site is in Dutch only)
By the way: Tune in to Red Light Jazz Radio
The Red Light Jazz Festival is an annual multi-day international jazz festival that has been held in and around the iconic Red Light District of Amsterdam since 2014. The festival was founded by local entrepreneurs to breathe new life into the rich jazz history of the old city centre and to build a bridge between old and new Red Light District entrepreneurs, and between residents and visitors of the Red Light District.
Red Light Jazz offers a stage to both established and upcoming jazz artists from all over the world. The performances take place at various unique locations in the Red Light District, such as: Casa Rosso, Casablanca, the Olofskapel, Hotel Prins Hendrik, the Corps Hall of the Salvation Army, Paleis van de Weemoed, the Bulldog Hotel and De Waalse Kerk .
The event emphasizes the historical bond between Amsterdam and jazz, with special attention to jazz icons such as trumpeter Chet Baker and saxophonist Kid Dynamite , both of whom are inextricably linked to Amsterdam’s jazz history.
Since its inception, Red Light Jazz has grown into an important cultural event in the capital, with many live performances in dozens of locations spread over several days.

Interesting side note: Vincent van Gogh visited this church a number of times. And in November 1877 he wrote his brother Theo the following:
Tomorrow morning I’ll go to the little English church you know, it lies there so peacefully in the evening in that quiet Begijnhof between the thorn-hedges, and seems to be saying ‘In loco este dabo pacem’, that is ‘in this place will I give peace’, saith the Lord. Amen, be it so.
