DutchAmsterdam, December 2017 — It’s been 16 years since Amsterdam has seen a proper winter.

But inclement weather does visit from time to time — such as in January, 2013.

Here’s what snow in Amsterdam looks like through the eyes and lens of street photographer Thomas Schlijper:
