DutchAmsterdam.nl — Apple Store, Amsterdam isn’t even open yet, but it is already breaking records.

Apple’s newest flagship store is the company’s largest in the world in terms of the number of products on display.

In a press release, Apple says the store — which will officially open to the public this Saturday at 10 am — includes the longest Genius Bar: 20 meters long, with 34 seats.

At the Genius Bar visitors can ask questions and learn more about Apple products. Aside from generalists the Genius team includes experienced musicians, filmmakers, photographers and designers.

An appointment can be set via the official Apple Store application. Once in the store the app can also be used to summon a sales assistant.

The Genius Bar is located on the first floor, reached via Apple’s iconic spiral glass staircase. This is also where the store provides personal configuration services and One-to-One training sessions.

Companies that want to learn more on how to use Apple products in a business environment will be informed in the Briefing Room.

The actual store is on the ground floor, where there also is room for events, workshops and presentations.

300 employees, of which 90% come from Amsterdam, will be able to serve customers in 14 languages — not a luxury in a city that is home to people from over 170 nationalities, and a tourist destination for visitors from around the world.

The press got a preview earlier this week

The store includes an EasyPay self-checkout for accessories through the App Store app.

Apple Store Amsterdam is located at Leidseplein 25.
