Taxi service TCA loses Schiphol concession, vows to fight decision

Starting June 1, 2009, taxi drivers affiliated with Amsterdam taxi service TCA will no longer be able to transport passengers from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. For the next five years, that right goes to the taxi services of three other cab companies as selected by the airport.
TCA drivers are livid, and TCA — which has provided Schiphol’s taxi services for the past 30 years — is going to court to fight the decision.
