Amsterdam police to ask people for help in solving crimes via email

Police teams in five Amsterdam neighborhoods are participating in a experiment in which people can subscribe to email alerts and digital newsletters.
The email alerts are intended to solicit the help of citizens in solving crimes, while the newsletters will keep people informed of safety issues.
